Thanks for validating my point, again, it's being 'bashed' by fanboys when they haven't even played it based off of another person's opinion (review). Ummm have you played FFX, you do realise that game was extremely linear as well, obviously not to the same degree as many have described FFXIII, but the precedent was already set.
Of course the game will sell better on PS3, for me personally I will definitely get the PS3 version (based on my sizeable collection of FF stuff on Play...

Don't think I have ever seen a game bashed and totally dismissed as much as FFXIII, EVEN BEFORE MOST OF YOU HAVE PLAYED IT!!!
I think we know the reason for this, as soon as multi platform status was announced, fanboys couldn't wait to start bashing the game. Could you please start acting like gamers and wait until you have played it before forming an opinion, I mean, It makes you look downright ignorant.
I'm simply trying to emphasise the point that both disk swapping and mandatory installations are a minor inconvenience. I honestly don't know how you can 'prefer' one over the other, when they both effectively do the same thing (limit you from playing the game for a certain amount of time), unless you're a hypocrite of course :)
Yeah a non issue, just like disk swapping. 5min for an install, 1 min (at most) to swap a disk, again, a non issue.

Add me to the list. Lost Odyssey is my favourite JRPG this gen as well. Frankly the 1000 years of dreams is one of the most beautiful, impeccably written and profound aspects of any game I have ever played. Severely underrated in my opinion.
If I've learnt one thing during my many years playing JRPG's, is that they are VERY personal experiences. I have loved many JRPG's that critics have slammed. I personally hold Lost Odyssey up as amongst my favourite JRPG's ever, not many will feel the same, but that is the beauty and bane with the genre, they are divisive.
WKC doesn't come out until the 25th of Feb in PAL regions, but once I have finished FFXIII, I'm definitely going to pick this up and give it a try for myself,...
I really think this feature will be announced at E3 this year. It is definitely my most anticipated PS3 feature.
One question though, does Sony have a mandate that all PSN games must be in HD? I hope so, cause I want to play FFX again in a HD resolution.
It only matters to fanboys. If you own a PS3, get it on PS3. If you only own a 360, get it on 360? It isn't complicated.

Yeah cross platform play is allowed, as demonstrated by FFXI.
So what else could it be? It could be something surrounding MS allowing people to play MMO without a Gold sub? Don't know what other issues there could be?
Nope, FFXI allows for cross platform play between 360/PC and PS2 gamers, so it must be something else?
It would be interesting to find out what this 'strict Live policy' is that was preventing FFXIV going to Xbox 360 in the first place? It can't just be an MMO problem, because the 360 already has FFXI and PSU?
Microsoft's involvement in the first Mass Effect was strictly a publishing deal, after the EA acquisition of Bioware, EA obviously published the second game. EA could simply publish the game on the PS3 if they wanted to.
